Branch Chair of Weymouth RNLI station stands down

Rob held the post of Branch Chair for nearly 5 years after taking up the role when he moved to Weymouth from Lyme Regis.
At Lyme Regis Rob was the Chair of the fund raising committee for 10 years, which runs the very successful Lyme Regis lifeboat week and is a huge fund raiser for the RNLI.
Rob was awarded a bronze medal by the RNLI for his hard work.
Weymouth lifeboat station is now looking for a replacement for Rob.
The role of Branch Chair is voluntary, mostly managerial and involves the chairing of meetings and fronting of public events, so the ability to speak in public to large numbers is a must for this post.
