Family hand over £1,500 to Weymouth lifeboat

The family of Tim Barnard who passed away in March of this year have handed over a cheque for £1,500 to the RNLI at Weymouth lifeboat station.
Tim who was a keen fisherman with a passion for the sea, had been a supporter and fund raiser for the RNLI for many years.
His widow Jane Barnard said that instead of flowers for Tim’s funeral she had asked that mourners make a cash gift to the RNLI instead.
This resulted in the raising of the £1,500 which Jane, along with daughter & son-in-law Liza and Garath Barnard-Griffiths and grandchildren Ruby & Rhys Bardnard-Griffiths, along with Weymouth fishing boat skipper Colin Penny, handed over to Weymouth lifeboat Coxswain Andy Sargent and Lifeboat crew members Jules Hutchins, Kevin Goddard and Ian Bickerstaff when they visited the lifeboat station on Sunday 20th August
