Historic Lifeboat open to the public

   
 

A rare chance to look around an ex RNLI lifeboat is happening on this Saturday 26th May.
The 47’Watson Class lifeboat Laura Moncur is visiting Weymouth for the weekend. She will be moored outside the Harbour Masters Office and will be open to visitors from 10am to 12.oo noon and 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
Owner Mark Waltham who spent over 6,000 hours and many thousands of pounds restoring her to her present condition said, ‘There is no charge to look around but buckets for donations to the RNLI will be at the gangway.’
